Brilliant Listening
Always insightful and professional in parts. Great for dissecting the latest defeat.
This season ?
I always listen to this and usually enjoy the listen … however, I’ve become a bit disappointed this season by the obsession with the “youngsters” and how they will be the future of the club. We need more objectivity, they have talent but will be inconsistent. They are not the saviours of the club, some balance is required and if you listen to Jem Karacan and Mick Gooding on BBC Berks you will get a sensible ex-pro view. And … if Ross could stop talking about Tyler Bindon that would be great. How poor was Bindon in the last 2 games ? He’s young, let him develop … he’s played little to no senior football … and football is littered with teenagers that looked great at first but never made it
Great pod but can you recap the news more
I love the pod and have been listening for a while! The new consistent hosting duo is great. My only request/ask is could you please take a few seconds to explain what happened sometimes instead of just commenting on your thoughts. If I’ve not been able to go to a game or watched the highlights I feel like I’m lost when listening sometimes. This weeks been pod for example didn’t mention the score, what the goals were like or give any details of what the fan protest was or what it was for (only eluded to there being one)
