Does inclusion trump fairness?
Mark chats to two sports scientist Tommy Lundberg and Kerry McGawley who both specialise in sprits performance at the highest level. Tommy is a Lecturer at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. and Kerry is an Associate Professor (Reader) at Mid Sweden University and Senior Researcher at the Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre.
Todays subject questions how fair is the inclusion of biological male athletes competing against biological females unfair? Do transgender female athletes have an unfair advantage even with testosterone interventions?
