Hello mates. Hope you're all keeping well. Sorry about the no-show last week. It's all getting a bit busy for us two at the moment. We're back with a belter this week though. It's a chat with director Marc Munden.
Marc's visionary oeuvre is pretty astonishing in its breadth and scale. You may have seen his most recent directorial work Help starring Stephen Graham and previous TSP guest Jodie Comer on Channel 4. It's a masterpiece and if you haven't already checked it out, it's an absolute must. Marc and Craig touch on previous works such as Bermondsey Boy, The Third Day, Utopia, National Treasure, The Secret Garden and others. They chat through Mark's childhood in North London, his abruptly halted propensity for mathematics, his love of storytelling, the impact of European arthouse cinema on him and loads, loads more.
It's a fantastic hour or so which we're sure you'll adore.
It's episode 161 of the Two Shot Podcast with the fantastic Marc Munden.

    David Morrissey

So. Here we are. IT'S 2019! WE. ARE. BACK. Let’s get going. Fresh out the traps with an absolute banger of an episode with 'The Governor' DAVID MORRISSEY. Craig & Griff met David in London (Craig was dying with a cold!) and we got IT ON. It’s the only way we could kick off 2019. It’s a beautiful, honest and almost fragile conversation with one of Liverpool’s finest. We ended 2018 with the magnificent JODIE COMER and we start 2019 with the majestic DAVID MORRISSEY. LIVERPOOL. REPRESENT. ENJOY THIS. If you've enjoyed listening then please click through to https://www.patreon.com/twoshotpod to make a donation to the running costs of the show. Prasanna Puwanarajah

Hello TSP listeners. How the devil are you and all that? We're back with another banger of an episode this week as Craig has a chat with the very lovely and very interesting Prasanna Puwanarajah. We're back over the digital airwaves again this week as Craig is on his travels for work, but that doesn't stop the convo from flowing.
You may have seen Prasanna in the latest series of Line Of Duty, in the BBC's Doctor Foster or Sky's Patrick Melrose. But Prasanna has taken a lesser trodden and fairly circuitous route to where we find him today. He and Craig discuss training to be a doctor at Oxford and the pressures that working in medicine brought, they talk exploration of characters, amateur dramatics, working bad jobs, agent relationships and loads, loads more.
It's a fantastic chat with many twists and turns along the way.

Great podcast

I’d never really been a ‘podcast’ person. Much prefer a good book. But I’ve become hooked on this. I suppose I expected it to be a bit ‘luvvie dahling’ at first, but it is definitely not this. Wonderful and insightful interviews that tell very human stories. I laugh and cry in equal measure. Craig has the most soothing, calming voice and a brilliant interview technique. Entertaining, thought-provoking and thoroughly entertaining. Try it!
