16: Ann Law
Margaret was waiting for her twin sister Ann to come around on Sunday 25th March 1973. They had plans to take their children to the beach that day. The time they had arranged came and went and Ann had not arrived. She knew something was wrong. When she went to Ann's house she was told by her husband Gilbert that she had simply left the house the night before and had not returned. She didn't even take her handbag. The police logged Ann as a missing person and quickly began looking for her. A search lasting over 10 years and a trial would occur but sadly Ann has never been found. Where is Ann Law?

15: Brenda Evans
On the 7th October 1977, Brenda Evans was on her way back from her lunch hour in the area of Poulton and Pulford in Cheshire. 17 year old Brenda had recently got engaged, bought a new house and found herself a new job. 1977 had been a very happy year for her. She was a reliable employee so when her boss realised she had not returned to work that afternoon he told her mother. A search party set out along the route from her Aunt and Uncle's house to find her. They did eventually find her but sadly she had become the victim of a horrific murder. Mystery and rumour surround this case as the suspicion has always been that someone from the local community was the murderer.

14: Florence Nightingale Shore
On January 12th 1920, Florence Nightingale Shore boarded a train to take her to the seaside resort of St Leonards in Hastings in Sussex. This was a journey many people took every day but today this one would be different. When the train pulled in at Bexhill a couple of hours later other passengers would realise Florence wasn't reading or sleeping, she was unconscious. She had been beaten around the head with the blunt object. Who would want to murder a celebrated war time nurse who had only lived to help others?

Update Description (https://audioboom.com/posts/7470348-laurence-winstanley/edit) -
13: The Disappearance of Andrew Elphick
On the 24th August 1991, a silver Vauxhall Nova GTE Saloon car was found by locals on a housing estate in Slough. The car attracted attention as the keys were left in the ignition, the sunroof was left open and it had not been seen on the estate before. The registration plate was ran by police and it was found to be registered to 21 year old Andrew Elphick who lived in the village of Normandy, Surrey which was just under an hour away. The problem that police encountered was that Andrew had not been seen since 8:30pm the previous evening. Andrew was a missing person. The investigation that ensued would lead police to a number of worrying discoveries and would turn this missing person case into a murder investigation.

12: Laurence Winstanley
On the 2nd October 1988, 23 year old Laurence Winstanley had been working at his garage in Oldham, Greater Manchester. During his lunch break he popped into the local pub. While he was there he received a phone call which his friends say made him agitated. He returned to the pub that evening but this would be the last time anyone would see him alive. That night he disappeared. A year later Laurence's body was found in Baitings Reservoir. The investigation into Laurence's murder caused many to wonder why he had been targeted and by whom.
In loving memory of Laurence Winstanley.

Customer Reviews
One of my favourites
Highly recommend this podcast. Detailed, interesting and love the accent.
Hidden Gem
Some really interesting historical stories that this podcast does a great job of covering. Easy to follow and on the ear.
Difficult to listen to
So much repetition in this podcast. Same words used over and over and sounds monotonous and dull.
