Great show about viruses!

I often listen to TWIV, and always enjoy it. As a scientist working in academia I find their episodes great, particularly when they are foccused on a virus I am not an expert on. It is a great way to learn about a new virus and they are particularly helpful to put a virus in context and give you a feel for how it fits into the world relative to other viruses and what we know about them. Their trips to special facilities and interviews with eminant figures in the field are also fascinating, even for a virologist of 20 years!

Fascinating

I have come to TWIV through Coursera. I listen, often without understanding, but with the belief that meaning is there, and joy, and that science is wonderful! These Abba lyrics come to me

They came flying from far away, now I'm under their spell
I love hearing the stories that they tell
They've seen places beyond my land and they've found new horizons........

Thank you Professor Vincent Racaniello and guests.
