Best spoken word Bible podcast

It is the best because Thomas questions all of the craziness & irrationality that this book contains. The killings, the taking of land, the genocide, rape & misogyny to name just a few examples. I don't know how the everyday preachers are supposed to explain most of this stuff, but I think I'd side with Thomas's view.

I got to hear of this show when Thomas appeared on Cognitive Dissonance. I checked it out & loved it so much I had to go back to the very start.

That bit of halibut was good enough for Jehovah

You have a classic story. A long book, a man willing to take the brunt of endless suffering in order to spread a message to all mankind about the holy word.

And he talks about Jesus. As well as all of the other prophets. Like the sacrificial lamb (or goat, or cow, or first born son, or [insert name of multiple Canaanite tribes here] he toils away to expose the ridicule of this bizarre book which a depressingly large portion of the population believe justifies their horrendous beliefs (often without reading the thing!) - in a compelling and hilarious style

Keep up the good work!!!

Brilliant

Have went through the Bible a few times but this guy interprets this just perfect :) the points he has made at parts I just didn't see as some parts are that repetitive that I never noticed before :) thank you
