009 | No, I will not give you my number.

They’re back. In their first episode of the New Year, Jessi and Lindsey catch up on their intentions for 2022. Amidst it all is an underlying theme of womanhood and the issues that many women today still face. A recent experience that Jessi shares has reminded them both of the strength in using your voice and the importance of supporting the universal sisterhood.

    008 | Segways & Nunchucks in Hell

    008 | Segways & Nunchucks in Hell

Ugh. Pack your favorite skincare products and hop on your Segway because in this week’s episode, we’re going straight to Hell. If magic is real, would you be able to see the world through the eyes of every ant on the planet? How about an ant riding on the back of a dolphin across the ocean? Don’t know what we’re talking about? Neither do we.

007 | Special Guest: Grandma Judy

007 | Special Guest: Grandma Judy

Per popular request, this week's episode features a very special guest: the famous Grandma Judy. Lindsey and Jessi come from a rich family history full of artistic (and kinda crazy) people. Travel through time as Grandma Judy takes you down a story filled path about their great great grandmother Maible, a silent film actress and Miss Los Angeles in 1915. Followed by the tale of their great grandfather Cal Howard, a comedic writer and cartoonist who worked everywhere from Walter Lantz Productions, Walt Disney, and Warner Brothers with a career spanning from the early 1920's through the 1980's, when he eventually won an Annie Award for lifetime achievement for his work in animation.

006 | What are you doing?

006 | What are you doing?

Lindsey and Jessi take some time to catch up and share what creative endeavors and projects they have been working on these days. Diving into questions like: How do you manage your time in order to make space for art in your life? When life hands you an injury, what do you do to keep creating? Seriously, should wearing flannel pajama pants in public be illegal? What is it like living in Bend, Oregon? How do you know which way to go?

    005 | Special Guest: Mom

    005 | Special Guest: Mom

In this week’s episode, Lindsey and Jessi sit down with a very special guest: their Mom. From homemade Halloween costumes to potato stamp Christmas wrapping paper, Mom is the epitome of Home Ec creative. Reminiscing about their childhood and sharing stories about running into walls (mouth first), one thing is for sure - flour sack dresses are all the rage right now.

    004 | Ana & Emily

    004 | Ana & Emily

In this week's episode, Lindsey and Jessi did their homework (for the first time in a long time) and chat about their chosen artists: Ana Mendieta and Emily Dickinson. Sharing with you a brief, substandard history and unsolicited opinions. Ana is well known for her "Earth Body Sculptures" and performance art. Her work covers topics such as race, gender, age and class. She tragically passed away too early and under suspicious circumstances. Emily Dickinson is one of the most celebrated of female poets. With over 1,800 poems found after her passing, her large body of work covers topics such as life, death, love and the richness of introspection. Lindsey and Jessi are not rocket surgeons, just two sisters who want to learn new things and implement that inspiration into their art.
