Sky Rockets In Flight, Afternoon Delight! (Arrested Development)

Sky Rockets In Flight, Afternoon Delight! (Arrested Development)

Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! This week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony sit down to discuss the Christmas episodes about the one family who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together. That's right, we're talking Arrested Development! And for those who want to follow along at home, the two episodes we'll be talking about are:
Season 1, Episode 8 - In God We Trust
    Season 2, Episode 6 - Afternoon Delight
While both Thom and Anthony have a history with the show, will Julia be as enamored with the unlikable Bluth family as her two cohosts? Or is there not enough charm or holiday feels in either of these episodes for her liking?
Also discussed this episode: the storm in Texas; birthdays and age; Adam Sandler; and which television shows we wish had done Christmas episodes before ending! In addition, Anthony reads an extraordinarily kind email the elves received regarding Another Christmas Story!
This is one fun episode, filled with absurd laughs, you want to be sure not to miss! So enjoy, and make sure to keep your eyes on your podcast feeds this upcoming Thursday for the next chapter of Another Christmas Story as read to you by listener, Rebecca Boll!

Life Is Not Merely A Series Of Meaningless Accidents Or Coincidences. (Serendipity)

This week, the elves travel back to 2001 to discuss the film Serendipity, starring John Cusack, Kate Beckinsale, Bridget Moynahan, and Jeremy Piven. As usual, they discuss their histories with the film and its actors, the Serendipity café in New York City, opinions about the storyline (and destiny in general), and what does or doesn't make this a Christmas movie as they debate whether or not this particular film is one. In addition, they talk about their weeks so far and welcome a brand new Patron! So, grab a bowl of your favorite ice cream, join us for our weekly discussion about all things Christmas, and get excited because next week, we kick off TV month (which - Spoiler Alert - is actually lasting a little over a month this year!) with the Bluth family and discuss the Christmas episodes of Arrested Development! what do you want from me??? ,

Absolutely Bangin’ Podcast

This podcast is great for if you are in the mood for Christmas, or if you aren’t, it really doesn’t matter what mood you are in, you will always be delighted when a new episode gets released every Monday. I recently got back into this podcast after a 3 month break and the elves are still doing the best work for santa. Hopefully we will get to see the forbidden episode ‘Pete’s Christmas’, I mean, there is always hope...

This podcast is not just for Christmas!

I signed up for the podcast as one of my friends is a host of the show but I found that it was everything I love in a podcast- witty, interesting and with great chemistry between the hosts. Even my family who aren't into Christmas enjoy the podcast for the movie trivia and general conversation. It's so much fun to watch the movies beforehand so you know what's happening but the handy movie summaries mean you don't have to. Pass me the cocoa and light the fire, 'Tis the Podcast is here to stay.
