Dice Tsutsumi and Erick Oh sat together to have a conversation about OSCAR shortlisted animation 'OPERA'. OPERA is a massive 8K size animation piece which reflects our human society. Let's hear how Erick created this ambitious project. This interview will be up until March 15th.

The Acorns Project is the story of three small acorns on a journey to become great great oak trees. It has become the journey of our small studio to test the limits of what we can do as filmmakers and animators. We want to connect with our audience through these stories and inspire curiosity throughout the world.

Everyone at some point goes through a life changing transition. The existence of these acorns are the perfect encapsulation of this: Small acorns spread far away with the power of nature, root down to the earth, and then transform into mighty trees many times their original size, and thus starts a new journey.

For this Tonkocast-- our Producer, Sara Sampson had the incredible opportunity to interview Emmy Award Winner Celine Desrumaux! In this interview Celine talks about her journey as an artist, the transition to working from home, & her thoughts on certain trends in animation. We hope you enjoy!

Celine is currently working on Glen Keane's upcoming animated film Over the Moon as the Production Designer and has worked on projects such as The Little Prince, SGT. Stubby, Back to the Moon; and her Production Design work on Age of Sail won the 2019 Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation.

Over the Moon is an upcoming American-Chinese computer-animated adventure musical comedy film directed by Glen Keane and co-directed by John Kahrs in their directorial debut. The film is produced by Pearl Studio with animation by Sony Pictures Imageworks. The film is scheduled for a late 2020 release on Netflix.
