TRACK! Episode 18 - Hayley Carruthers TRACK! Podcast

    • Running

This week on TRACK! We are delighted to be joined by an athlete who has been described as one of the biggest revelations in British elite distance running in years. Hayley Carruthers has impressive PBs from 1500m to the marathon distance with a best time of 2.32 over 26.2 miles. Hayley runs for BRAT, has represented England over the marathon distance and has recently become a HOKA One One sponsored runner.

Hayley came to a wider audience’s attention in 2019 when competing at the LDN Marathon finishing in a time of 2.34. Although Hayley is a relative latecomer to running, having only taken the sport up seriously in 2016, her progression in that time highlights her potential in the coming years so we are delighted that she has agreed to take some time out to talk all things running with us here at TRACK!

In the pre-interview show Cat, Robbie, George and Ben discuss the latest race results including some impressive indoor performances and the latest running news. Thanks for listening, we hope you enjoy!
