Solo Album Lucky Dip - Somewhere In England

Solo Album Lucky Dip - Somewhere In England

Merry Christmas all. As we've had to delay our Xmas special due to COVID and general winter illnesses, we thought we'd pick a random Beatles solo album that we didn't really know, spend a week with it and discuss the results. That lucky LP was George Harrison's Somewhere in England, and it was a very enjoyable listen and subsequent chat.

WARNING: Unrehearsed, unedited waffle awaits! Likely to contain factual errors and general thickness.

We'll be back shortly after the festive season with our bonus cover challenge, and then normal service will be resumed! KBBO.

Pure pleasure..

I’m late to the party, have just finished the first series & it’s been a mesmerising experience - I’ve been sent down so many wonderful musical rabbit holes inspired by The Beatles it’s been such a joy..

Beatle Simon ,

Beautiful ending.

The episode with Max Tundra which finishes with Low’s version of ‘Long, Long, Long’ was stunning.
