Depp v Heard episode that sees bigger picture

Thank you for the Michael Hobbes episode. It’s a contemporaneous You’re Wrong About and shows how easy it is for a very vocal minority to determine how we treat young women in media. Hobbes has the space to verbalise the bigger picture. And whether you agree with him or not it’s important to have this reminder of how structures of power operate.

Change the trailers!

Because I really like this podcast, this appeal comes from a good place- for the love god, change the way you advertise it. I get bombarded with the ads via Tune-in, and they’re terrible. A lady of a certain age speaking over godawful noodley jazz. It seems designed to keep anyone under the age of 60 away. It’s a real shame. I’m not asking for a rapper or EDM, but please, do yourselves a favor and change it up a bit.

Superb

Long time listener, so well produced. Will miss Bob. Curious why there was no show covering the recent Israel / Palestinian conflict? Such awful media bias... please even if it’s later would you consider covering.
