My favourite new podcast

I shouldn't have liked this. I'm not a fan of podcast hosts going off topic, and some of the early episodes take a while for them to even get on topic. But Alice and Veronica are delightful hosts, funny and intelligent, they usually have something to say worth listening to, even if it isn't Trek related. Highlights so far have been 'Haven' and 'Angel One' as they made me rethink the episodes and see some worth in them that I hadn't before. This has quickly become a new favourite that I look forward to downloading each week. If you're looking for a new Star Trek podcast that isn't just retreading the same tired old ground, this is it.

Hilarious and delightful

Alice and Veronica are hilarious and delightful. Recommend episode with Paul F Tompkins as starting point.

Get to the Trek!

I was so initially exited when I found this podcast buuuut only around 30% of each episode is dedicated to Star Trek, the rest is mostly riffing and banter.
The most recent episode took them around 15 minutes to get into talking about Star Trek in any real way.
Having said that, I really like them, just would be nice if they stayed on message a little more. I guess they have plenty of time to iron out the kinks.
Also a little disappointed that the guests don't really know Trek very well and often run through the old joke cliches.
Buuuuut because they seem like cool people and nobody else has really reviewed yet... I'll drop five stars.
