What is your relationship with alcohol? Have you ever woken up with a feeling of dread, wondering what you might have done or said the night before? Maybe you've felt inner self judgement, swearing to yourself that you"re never drinking again! Or maybe you just want to try Dry January to feel healthier, look better, and see if you can do it. I myself, as an energy healer and wellbeing specialist know better! ...but that doesn't mean I don't know those feelings all too well. Maybe it zaps my energy for a couple of days, or I eat crappy processed food, or maybe the lingering effects of a couple glasses of wine have made me feel a bit down in the dumps the next day. Either way, we know alcohol is not good for us, its a poison actually, and yet we often can wait to clink our glasses with friends.
In this weeks show I discuss the book The Alcohol Experiment by Annie Grace as we kick off the first week together! The book has been called a game changer and is a celeb favorite designed for ANYONE who wants to challenge themselves to interrupt their habits and help take control.
Together we will cover everything you can think of to help you succeed. Tips for success:
Make a firm decision to commit to the experiment 100%
Tell someone you trust about WHY you are doing this
Drink plenty of water to flush out the toxins (I also like to add drinking celery juice to your morning routine for a bonus detox)
Shower every morning to wash of toxins from the night
Get plenty of sleep. This is when your cells repair them selves
Step up your exercise. You will feel better and it oxygenates your blood
Eat cleaner healthyier foods, bump up your protein intake
Take be before photo, and record your weight
STAY SOCIAL! This is not a time to hibernate and cancel your social plans. You don't want to feel deprived. Seeing family and friends is important :)
Be positive.. Make this is a self love, judgement free experience.
