This is a fairly interesting podcast and there are a fair few topics and issues that are discussed that are approached in a sound way. Guests can be good too. However, at times this definitely feels like an angry Twitter feed. As a non-American, the heavy handed politics that are tainted by the usual predictable talking points are not appealing. One of the more reprehensible takes is that Democrats don’t want increased protection for schools because they like school shootings as these will help them achieve their ultimate goal of taking your guns. Wow. This coming after an assertion that you can’t call things hate crimes because you have to prove intent in the heart: so go on then Kyle-prove it. Not to mention total whiplash inducing mindset of not seeing the absolute madness that you live in a country where you even need increased school security to stop children being slaughtered - but of course, the culture of guns cannot possibly factor into why this is the case right? Bizarre.
Overall, I would listen to this but selectively. I understand everyone has different perspectives on things, but I find myself tuning out where the content drifts further form biblical truth and into personal politics.
