In our final episode before the Season 5 premiere, Liam sits down with Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) and Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig). He keeps them separated though, as it seems the sons of Ragnar aren't getting along right now. Plus, Michael Hirst gets us amped for what he calls "the best season yet."

A Stab, A Slash, and A Die
The magic of Vikings is in making what you see on the screen seem like it could have taken place in the Viking age, more than a thousand years ago. So, the places where scenes are shot, how those locations are decorated, and what it all ultimately sounds like become incredibly important. This week, Liam gets into it with three of the people responsible for making modern locations look at sound Viking authentic: Set Decorator, Jil Turner, Locations Manager, Manus Hingerty, and Emmy-nominated ADR Editor, Dale Sheldrake.

The Invisible Hands
Over its four seasons so far, Vikings has received critical and fan attention not just for the storytelling and performances, but also for the unique, groundbreaking look of the Vikings world and the characters in it. This week, Liam hears from some of the most influential people on that look, Emmy-nominated makeup and prosthetics artist, Tom McInerney, Emmy-nominated hair stylist, Dee Corcoran, and stunt coordinator, Richard Ryan.

The Vikings Themselves Would have Been Proud
It takes a lot of work to make a show such as Vikings and it's really interesting to hear about all the hard work that goes into making a series like this. They make it look so easy.
The podcast itself is very informative - a perfect accompaniment to the show. There are spoilers occasionally but it's not a problem. The speakers do warn listeners of spoiler alerts. And besides, the show is so good, you should be watching it before listening to the podcasts anyway. Can't wait for the new series to start at the end of November. What's Lagertha's fate going to be? How will Ivar handle the situation? Who's the new guy we all saw at the end of 4B?
Amazing
Just love being kept updated with what’s happening on set
Brilliant and very informative!
Nick's passion resonates through, and, despite being over half an hour the podcast felt almost too short! Looking forward to future episodes
