    Tink & Thinker

In this episode of @woodworkerspodcast Phil wraps up a box making class...Ramon preps for double-bevel marquetry...and Ben gets ready to start a window restoration at a Nebraska State Historic site. Heron Chair, Sara Watlington’s

The incredibly talented, Sarah Watlington, joins us again. But this time we’re trying something a little different by going on a deep design dive with her about her absolutely stunning, Heron Chair. We felt it would be interesting to do a concentrated conversation on this one piece, and as it turns out, we think the feeling was a pretty darn good one. From its conception, as a design, designed to hurt, to its’ build evolution and construction, during a 2nd year 2nd semester at the Krenov School, we hear about the challenges and techniques of building something that speaks a familiar existing language and yet has something beautifully new to say. Hope you find it as interesting as we did. Join us won’t you?

Three Guys Chatting

It took a few episodes to slide its way into my regular podcast rotation but I now eagerly anticipate each new episode.

I like the conversational approach from three guys working in the industry.

I should deduct a star after Phil’s recent admission about Arsenal but will let it slide for now.

Really enjoying this so far!

Another great woodworking podcast to help satisfy my woodworking needs when I cant be in the shop. I really like how Ramon, Phil and Ben can provide a insight into the life of a woodworker who makes living by woodworking. Its really interesting hearing the perspective from these three skilled craftsmen and I think it is a needed voice in the current selection of woodworking podcasts. I really enjoyed the recent interview with Tim Coleman and look forward to future interviews. Early episodes are, lets just say a bit rambly but I like the relaxed converstional style of the podcast. Keep going guys!
