Two friends. One menopause. A thousand challenges. A million laughs. Come and join the conversation. We're two friends with many shared experiences but by far the biggest experience has been, and still is, the menopause. Boy have we been on a journey with it. From perimenopause to full on meno, we've been together all the way sharing, supporting, encouraging and having each other's backs. Even holding each other when we've had our 'wall slider' moments (you'll hear more about this don't worry). We've found things along the way that have worked for us, physically and emotionally but by far the things that are getting us through are each other, our friendship and laughs. No matter what happens, we have plenty of laughs. We want to share our experiences with you in the hope that you'll realise you're not alone, that you'll discover some things that might help you through this crazy but freeing phase of your life and we hope you'll share with us too because we've still got plenty to learn and far to go.We’ll have regular features ... •Lost and Found (or Lost & Never Found) •Fog Moments •Symptoms, Shares and Top Tips •Play Time - Just for Fun including Activities, Music, Makeup, Fashion etc. Along the way, we’ll also be inviting some lovely special guests to join us to share their expertise and experiences. Bonus Episode : Member Spotlight 1 with Jools McCheyne

Here at WTF we're all about our lovely members, our community. We started this whole journey to share our experiences in the hope it would let other women know they're not alone with all the crazy things we experience during menopause and to give them the support, encouragement and opportunity to speak out about how they feel, what they're going through and what they've learned.

We've always said we want you to feel as if you're joining us for for our weekly coffee and chat so, we want to open up the conversation to you, our amazing community members.

First up for our Member Spotlight is one of our earliest supporters, all round bloomin' superwoman and beautiful soul, Jools McCheyne. Jools agreed to chat to us about how she's handling holding down a full time job, healing her physical pain, being a Mum to teenage boys, studying for an HNC and all while going through the menopause. She shares what she's done to get through, what she's still struggling with and how important it is to have the right support around you.

Thank you SO MUCH our Jools for being so generous, open and honest and blinkin' lovely.

We honestly couldn't do this without our listeners and community members so if you want to share your unique meno journey by taking the Member Spotlight, just give us a shout. All the ways you can find and reach us are listed below.

We really hope you enjoy being a part of our conversations and we hope you have a few laughs with us but most of all, we hope you feel you’re not alone in this crazy life phase.

    Big love,

    Michele & Lou 💓x

Ep 8. Meltdowns and Wall Sliders

Ep 8. Meltdowns and Wall Sliders

Hey lovely Foggers and Foglets, welcome to Episode 8, the final episode of Season 1. Yikes, it it that time already?!

We honestly can’t believe we’ve made it this far, or that we even got started in the first place, but we feel so blesse to have had such incredible support and to have built such an amazing community. For Episode  8, the first season finalé (8 is the sign of infinity btw. Ooh, dare we believe we can carry on forever?), it feels appropriate to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you in our lovely community for listening, engaging and being a part of our little movement and another huge THANK YOU to the lovely ladies who have ‘bought us a coffee’ via ‘Buy Me a Coffee’ (link below). It’s so good to know you’re enjoying what we do here at WTF and your donations help us keep it all going and grow this movement for us all.

In this episode we’re going raw and baring our souls as we share a couple (there are lots so this might have to be a mini series) Meltdowns and Wall Sliders, as we call them. Those moments when it all just became too much, overwhelm set in. the red mist descended and the valve had to pop and we needed to shout "THERE SHE BLOWS. STAND ASIDE!"

If you can relate and have 'wall slider' moments of your own you'd be prepared to share, we would love to hear them so that we don't feel it's only us.

We really hope you enjoy being a part of our conversations and we hope you have a few laughs with us but most of all, we hope you feel you’re not alone in this crazy life phase.

    Big love,

    Michele & Lou 💓x

EP 7. Rollercoasters and Bladder Bleepers

EP 7. Rollercoasters and Bladder Bleepers

Hey lovely Foggers and Foglets, welcome to Episode 7.

We honestly can’t believe we’ve made it this far, or that we even got started in the first place, but we feel very lucky to have had such incredible support and to have built such an amazing community. For Episode lucky 7, it feels appropriate to say a huge THANK YOU for listening, engaging and being a part of our little movement and another huge THANK YOU to the lovely ladies who have ‘bought us a coffee’ via ‘Buy Me a Coffee’ (link below). It’s so good to know you’re enjoying what we do here at WTF and your donations help us keep it all going and grow this movement for us all.

In this episode, as well as the usual Fog Moments, we’re talking about the emotional rollercoaster that is the Meno Ride and sharing (or possibly over sharing) our experiences of one of the least talked about meno symptoms, urinary incontinence or Bladder Bleepers as we prefer to call them.

We really hope you enjoy being a part of our conversations and we hope you have a few laughs with us but most of all, we hope you feel you’re not alone in this crazy life phase.

    Big love,

Ep 6. It's Never Too Late! Plus Sliding Doors Moments & Super Moons

Ep 6. It's Never Too Late! Plus Sliding Doors Moments & Super Moons

Well, all we can say this episode is "Thank goodness for understanding good gal pals." We've been discombobulated and all over the show lately and we're blaming the Full Pink Super Moon...and Meno of course. Well, who wouldn't?

If you've been feeling the flux too, it's worth considering that if the moon can control the tide and we're over 60% water, then it makes total sense that it can pull and push us too doesn't it? This particular full moon is in Scorpio. Scorpio has a masculine energy and the moon is all about the feminine, so there's another push-me-pull-you situation. So give yourself a break if you're struggling to focus, feeling agitated or particularly fog brained. We feel ya and we've got ya.

As usual, there's even more. As well as sharing the usual Fog Moments (there are some doozies this episode), we talk about....

    • It's never too late to start something new.
    • Careers and 'Sliding Doors' moments
    • Fearlessness.
    • Decluttering.
    • Creativity.
    • Bigging yourself up.

We hope you enjoy joining in with the conversation.

Ep 5. Riffing on The Midlife Midriff

Ep 5. Riffing on The Midlife Midriff

Hi lovely Foggers and Foglets. Here we are again with Episode 5. It seems you like it and have asked for more. We couldn't be more flattered and thrilled. THANK YOU.

This episode we're chatting about all things midlife midriff, bloating and bellies.

If there's one thing that's guaranteed to have us not feeling like our former selves, it's that sluggish, bloated feeling that comes with our hormonal changes. It can really leave us feeling yuk. And when we reach in to the wardrobe for our fav outfit and it just doesn't fit or feel the same, it can be seriously deflating. Don't despair lovelies. We have some insights and tips for you that'll have you feeling a whole lot like the real and very beautiful you again.

As usual, there's even more. As well as sharing the usual Fog Moments, we're talking about....

    • Wibbly wobbly anxiety flare ups and those emotional curve balls.
    • Lost earrings....yep, more of those.
    • New year astrology and moon related doodahs that mean hope is ahoy lovelies.
    • Play Time -  What we're doing to create some fun and playfulness and why.

We hope you enjoy listening. If you like what you hear please SUBSCRIBE and REVIEW, it will really help us, and share with your friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, aunties and bring them along to join the growing WTF Community.

Ep 4. Sleepless in Menoland. Insomnia, Work Challenges and Self Love.

    Hi loves,

This episode we're focussing on Insomnia. The meno gal's nemesis and one of the 34 registered symptoms of menopause. We share our bedtime routines, things we found and heard about that might help and we talk about how important it is to show ourselves some serious LOVE without feeling guilty. Self care is everything.

As well as sharing the usual Fog Moments, we're talking about....

    • Pyjama Parties and Coffee Mornings
    • To Wine or not to Wine - does alcohol help or hinder?
    • Workplace -vs- Working for Yourself - the different challenges.
    • Treating Yourself Regularly - how crucial it is. Non negotiable.
    • Text message and word muddling mishaps
    • Play Time -  What we're doing to create some fun and playfulness

We hope you enjoy listening. If you like what you hear please SUBSCRIBE and REVIEW, it will really help us, and share with your friends, sisters, mothers, daughters, aunties and bring them along to join the growing WTF Community.

Just Fabulous

This Podcast is top of my list. 2 lovely women just having a chat about what they are going through. Gives all of us ‘Fogglets’ hope and advice and a good understanding of what to expect when our turn comes around. Lots of great advice, funny moments and recommendations too! It feels like you’re in the room with them having a nice little chat. ❤️

SimplyMrsP ,

Great podcast for foggy brains!

I’m loving this new podcast! Two gorgeous, honest and upbeat hosts who have made me laugh out loud and have helped by showing I am not alone with my brain fog, flushes and insomnia. I look forward to the new episodes and love their insta too 🥰

Yayney ,

Much needed....

Finally an honest account of what the menopause feels and looks like. I’m mid 40’s, (proud to be a foglette) and as I float and bump, and crash around trying to understand what’s happening to me during my peri-menopausal state I now have guidance of what to expect next - but more importantly to feel less alone.
Thank you Lou Lou and Michelle for opening up to us.
And thank you for being very funny with it too. I cannot wait for the next instalment.
