Mfedora ,

I’ve been searching for this podcast all my life

Finally. The podcast I’ve been waiting for all my life . I can’t tell you how much I love the Young Indiana jones chronicles, one of the maddest impossible shows ever to be made. It’s an art piece, an anthology, a look inside the mind jd of the gentle eccentric genius that is George Lucas.

I’ve always felt alone in that, that love. Today, Young Indy is usually only brought up as the lamest punchline to the lamest of jokes. It is underrated, ahead of its time, but unfortunately almost completely unknown.

But oh, for the young Indy fanatic there have always been so so many questions. Has any show ever been more fiddled with? Re-edited rewritten, re shot. Scenes filmed decades after the event, mad monologues about Venice conjured from ether. Why? How? And how did they make such an incredibly sumptuous thing in the first place? I thought I’d passed the time in my life when I would get answered to any of it.

But here we are. Two men with the same level of love, as myself, for the maddest series on the planet; talking to the people who made it, the people who were there. They all have something in common, they all sound like they’ve been waiting to tell stories for decades. And they all love young Indy. It bursts out of them. That love for this mad old show that I’ve always felt alone in loving. It’s like coming home.

Great podcast guys.
Can’t wait for season 2.
