Great resource!
I really enjoy listening to this podcast, however I do prefer the boob group podcast they do. I imagine this is because, while I am American, I live in the UK and would love a slightly more international approach to these subjects. I would love to recommend these podcasts to friends here but I think many are inapplicable to UK medical care. For example, the hospital bag episode would be much different in the UK, as with socialized health care we are told to bring our own diapers, blankets, maternity pads, towels, slippers, items for baby, etc. Very little is free and good quality. Prenatal care in the UK is also midwife led unless you’re high risk, which leaves a lot of the OBGYN discussions inapplicable. I’d love episodes that bring in different country perspectives and show the levels of safety for moms and babies among different approaches.
3 stars
I like the topics covered and the friendly hosts. But hate the stupid child reading a disclaimer at the end of the episode. Very infantilising!
Also there are so many ads. Skip to 9-10 mins in for actual content.
Too many ads
New to this podcast , seems like they have good content and great/helpful information to provide. But the amount of advertisements are over powering and have put me off listening to more episodes.
