Escape Rooms have quickly evolved from just boxes with a few locks to entire immersive experiences with five rooms, actors, altered reality, and VR. These are some of the differences between rooms and how they can effect player experiences. For the most part, new effects and gadgets are a good thing! But when the machine gets too complicated it can be expensive and maybe even more trouble than it's worth for owners. What do you prefer? A manual experience with clear locks and keys? Or rooms with all the automated interactions, AI, and video game elements?
