Jared Leto joins the cast of Zack Snyder Justice League, begins reshoot

Jared Leto joins the cast of Zack Snyder Justice League, begins reshoot

Jared Leto is all set to reprise his role as Joker in the upcoming Zack Snyder's Justice League film. Jared Leto who last played Joker in the 2016 Suicide Squad has joined Zack Snyder in the re-shooting process of Justice League Snyder Cut.

Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard are other individuals involved in the re-shooting process. Zack Snyder's Justice League will stream on HBO Max and will have a whole new take at the earlier released version of the movie.

The inclusion of Jared Leto's Joker is noteworthy, as the character was not there in the original 2017 movie and also his character of Joker had very less screen time in Suicide Squad. This also raises a question of how much new content are we going to see in this version of the Justice League.

The trailer for Zack Synder Justice League was released at the DC FanDome event on 22 August. The trailer really gives a glimpse at how different this version is going to be from the other one.

This movie will also set ties with other DC movies that will make for a bigger DC Extended Universe.

University of Oxford develops COVID-19 vaccine - KNine Vox News

In exciting news amid this pandemic, the University of Oxford has developed a vaccine that appears to be safe and triggers an immune response against the Coronavirus. This COVID-19 vaccine was tested on over 1000 people and results showed that antibodies and T-cells were formed in the body to fight coronavirus.

The study lead author Andrew Pollard of the University of Oxford said "We hope this means the immune system will remember the virus so that our vaccine will protect people for an extended period".

The findings are promising but there is more research needed to test the complete effectiveness and for how long can it provide protection against coronavirus.

WHO has commented on the vaccines by saying the results are positive but have a long way to go.

For this vaccine to be available to the wider public it may take at the earliest next year and that if everything goes according to the plan.

Oxford's vaccine is not the only one with similar results, various other groups in the US and other parts have been publishing similar results.

Netflix's $200 million movie - KNine Vox News

Netflix's $200 million movie - KNine Vox News

Netflix has announced its most expensive movie yet: a $200 million spy thriller called The Grey Man, starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans and directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

It should be a no brainer that Netflix is spending this much for a movie after the blockbuster success of Extraction, which earned 99 million views in four weeks.

The film is based on a 2009 novel by author Mark Greaney, “The Gray Man” which centers on “a deadly duel between killers as freelance assassin Gentry being played by Gosling is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen which is being played by Chris Evans, a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA.”

This movie is supposed to be a spy thriller franchise that will see Ryan Gosling return for future projects. The production is expected to start early next year.

The new film is part of Netflix’s larger ambitions to create the sorts of big-budget franchises like Marvel’s superhero films or Universal’s Fast and Furious movies.
