I am excited to welcome you back after quite some time! I had to issue warranty on my podcast recorder.
Lately, I listen to podcasts at increased speed. The speed at which the guests and I talk is probably limited by the rate at which we can formulate thoughts,
not your ability to keep up. So, I encourage you to try a higher pace and see if you like it.
Today's guest is Christoff Heunis. I hope you enjoy this episode, I certainly loved recording it. -
#0015 Káťa Homolková: Studying In The USA
Káťa Homolková is a 24-year-old law student from Prague, who owns and runs the Studovatvusa agency, which sends high school students from Czechia to the USA. She participated in the student exchange herself at the age of 15 and arranged my stay in Oklahoma.
I think recommendations are a great way for this podcast to generate more value for both me and you. Note, that I was not paid or asked to say this. While other agencies will just take care of the paperwork, Káťa sees it as her job to prepare you for everything you will encounter in the US. Just to give you an example, she explained to us, American parents tend to be less privacy-sensitive towards their children. My friend who went with a different agency only found this out when his host mom asked him to install an app, that let her see his location at all times. If you or your loved one want to go from the Czech Republic to the USA for a high school exchange, I strongly encourage you to consider Studovatvusa.
