    Bret Flinn is a current volunteer at the Dayton Mediation Center.  Before volunteering he retired from Federal Law Enforcement in 2015 after 30 years of service and immediately started a private sector career in Cyber Security.  In his current role, Bret specializes in Cyber Incident Response, Insider Threat and Cyber Forensics.  He has extensive experience in interviewing and communications with the public in many different roles and all over the world.  Bret has 2 adult children who reside in Colorado and enjoys working around the house, smoking/grilling, golf, biking and is an automobile enthusiast and resides in Beavercreek.

Alisa began her career in 1987with the United States Bankruptcy Court as a Paralegal ,and her journey has opened an array of opportunities since then. Alisa has served as a volunteer for Artemis House, the Dayton Black Cultural Festival , the Miami Valley Child Development Centers and with the Miami Valley Combined Federal Campaign and now 5 years at the Dayton Mediation Center. Alisa is also now a published co-author of U.G.L.Y. II Uncovering Gods Love For You.

    This is a special episode featuring a Transformative Dialogue conversation with a number of citizens. It is a diverse group of participants who have chosen taxation and wealth redistribution as their first topic to discuss. The goal is to continue this dialogue with the group and see what happens when you bring a diverse group of people together to discuss political issues while using Transformative Dialogue techniques.     Episode 5 - Interview With Howard Jordan

    Howard Jordan has been volunteering with the Dayton Mediation Center since 2016. Howard grew up in Dayton, spent four years in the Army after graduating from high school, then joined the Dayton Police Department in 1986. He served for thirty years, and during that time did street patrol, worked as a detective, and was an administrative investigator. He has an associate’s in law enforcement from Sinclair, a bachelor’s from Ohio University, a master’s from both Tiffin and Walden Universities, and is currently working on his PhD at Walden University.

    Episode 4 - Interview With Bill Fischer

    Bill Fischer currently serves as Vice President for Student Development at the University of Dayton. Bill has over 20 years of experience in higher education with specialty focus on student conduct and conflict resolution systems. He has held previous leadership positions in student affairs at Johnson & Wales University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Northeastern University, University of New Hampshire, and Illinois State University.  Bill has served as a volunteer mediator at the Dayton Mediation Center, in Dayton, OH for approximately 10 years, and currently serves as the Dayton Mediation Center’s Advisory Board Chair. In 2018, he received the Carl R. Patrick Volunteer Award for his service at the center. Prior to his tenure in higher education, Bill was engaged in the full time practice of law for approximately ten years. Bill earned his B.A. degree from Villanova University and his J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
