Summer Reading: James Week 1
This year's Summer Reading Series will focus on the book of James in the New Testament. James gives us a lot of helpful instruction on how we should live our lives as followers of Christ. James calls us to live steadfast, holding to God's word, to not show favorites and to have an active faith. He calls us to understand the power of our words, the source of all our arguments, the brevity of our life, the importance of generosity, the value of patience and the power of prayer. James is loaded! Let's dive in together this summer.
The trials we face can be tests that reveal our faith or temptations to escape to sin. Submit your desires and emotions to God, seek Him for wisdom, and stand on His word. -
The First Commission
Pastor Javin invited a former student from his youth ministry days to share an impactful word with us on this weekend. Kaleigh Ward Cox is a child of God who serves as a wife, mom, career woman and the church where her and her family faithfully attend. In this message she will share how you don’t have to be a pastor or missionary to participate in Christ’s commission to make disciples, or God’s commission to bring heaven to earth.

Who is the Holy Spirit Week 1
Throughout Scripture, beginning in the Old Testament, we see references to the Holy Spirit. What is our relationship with the Holy Spirit. How should we relate to him in connection with God the Father and Jesus Christ?
The Holy Spirit is not to be treated as a third wheel in our relationship with God. The Holy Spirit is a part of the Godhead, and to operate in our life without the Holy Spirit is to operate not at our fullest potential. One of our goals as followers of Christ should be to live a spirit led, spirit filled life.
