UK is supposedly "a model for other white-majority countries"

UK is supposedly "a model for other white-majority countries"

The jokes write themselves! Earlier this week The Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, (a group put together by Boris Johnson's government), the same government that is led by a prime minister who has previously referred to black people as having 'watermelon smiles' and 'piccaninnies' concluded that the UK is supposedly a 'model for other white majority countries'. Essentially the government self marked their own homework and gave it an A*, a clear example of unwarranted self adulation! Interestingly enough, Tony Sewell head of The Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities, has previously stated that 'evidence of institutional racism in the UK is flimsy' and also described the Black Lives Matter demonstrations as a 'lower middle-class revolt'. Join us in this episode as we delve more into this report and it's extremely questionable conclusions.
