Episode 4- Karina Walker
Karina Walker has been involved with ringette for 25 years. She has been a huge advocate for women and women in sport to promoting positive body image, self-acceptance, and building confidence. In the process of sharing her journey and knowledge with young athletes, she founded Rising Strong, an online community that supports, uplifts, and encourages all women to love themselves and unlearn what we've all consumed in the media about what a women's body should look like. Lindsay has been playing ringette since she was 5 years old and has experience playing at the Canada Games, coaching at the Manitoba Games, and was a member of the Canadian National Team!
