Final Thoughts on Book of Jude
The half brother of Jesus makes the case in the Book of Jude that Believers should beware of experiencing the blessings of God and also the judgment of God by not genuinely holding onto their profession of faith, thereby making shipwreck of their faith. Jude makes it clear that God's judgment will be visited upon divisive people spreading false teaching in the church and that Believers should be vigilant, aware, and do those things that build up those in the faith. In this week's concluding thoughts of the Book of Jude, we begin to spring into a series of Great Doctrines of the Bible, continuing Jude's call to Contend for the Faith.

Defining The Faith We Contend For
In our discussions on Contending For The Faith, we begin to address in this episode, the Faith we contend for, and seek to make listeners aware that very few people will find the way to eternal life. Jesus Himself said the way is narrow and the gate is straight that leads to life. 700 years before Christ, Isaiah prophesied about this pathway and referred to it as The way of holiness . . ." - Isaiah 35:8. Doesn't it seem people are trying to see how broadly the road can be made today? Regardless, Jesus said few people would enter through this path; it requires humility, brokenness and self sacrifice.

Contending For The Faith In The Face Of Gay & Lesbian Choices
Throughout history, it has been necessary at times for Believers to contend for the Faith against advancing apostasy. In this generation, Truth is being attacked on numerous fronts, most notably the sovereignty and the authority of God. However, in no small measure, the homosexual agenda has attacked the authority of the Scriptures and seeks to lead people away from norms established by the Creator, all in the name of love and inclusivity. This is error of the most dangerous kind. Believers must be prepared to stand for Truth and contend for the Faith in love and respect, but no less vigorously than a soldier in combat. Speaking Truth in love is not a dichotomy. Listen today as a Scripturally sound defense is offered to those living a gay or lesbian lifestyle as to why their relationship choices are not aligned with the accepted norms or standard set by our Creator.

Contending For the Faith In A Cancel Culture
Regardless of where popular opinion is on the subject of Absolute Truth, Believers have the responsibility of contending for the Faith in the public square, inside the church, and in the home. Failing to do so results in a false message permeating the church and our culture at large, the implications of which are eternal loss. Listen as Jude makes the case against false teaching corrupting Believers and implores Believers to skillfully wrestle for Truth in contemporary society.
