Fill your JANUWORRY with productivity & purpose.
Jackson Brown once said we should think big thoughts but relish small pleasures. January is a month where we sow seeds that we shall reap later, either this year or the next or the next. Hopefully this episode will enlighten you. By the way, have a productive and beautiful 2024.

Navigating Adulthood Ep 1 (Season 2)
I had a remote conversation with Temantimandze Kunene on a broad & deep conversation about navigating your way to adulthood. We couldn't control the effect of this episode as it went deeper but we surely were equipped for all this! As we start season two, join us for a convolersation about what it means to become an adult. We discuss the challenges we face as we transition into adulthood and the lessons we wished we learned sooner and different reflections about stepping into adulthood in its entirety. Let's get to it! Share your thoughts!

If I Was To Propose To You- Bandile Matsenjwa
if i was to propose to you
i'd start by saying thank you.
for believing me when i said you make my heart dance
and the fact that you didn't ask for proof
i'd probably say that days without you are years
that i loved you before i did, it doesn't make sense i know
I know you do not look like me
but i feel like you are a reflection of me
I know the future holds days that i will never see
but can i spend now and then with you
know that i'd die eventually
but at least let me love you to my grave
if i was propose to you
i'd say thank you
for cracking open my heart
i would say that i am ready to love you through any type of metamorphosis.
i'd follow you anywhere you go and pivot in different directions to learn some valuable lessons
I'd tell you that i have a temper
but it doesn't mean i have an agenda
some days i may alienate you since my words may come out crazy and hurt
before you say you love me too
i'd ask you to
Melt my iron fists into open palms,
where psalms are engraved in desperation from all the lives I’ve never lived.
Learn their blind stories like a braille bible and I swear to God I’ll give you something to believe in.
you need to understand that i am a writer
so sometimes i love with words and sometimes i love in ways i can't word
Be patient with my words and how they only come out right on paper.
Most of the time I’m just searching
for the perfect simile for your smile.
I know that i now sound daunting darling,
but i am a crime scene that just needs to be investigated by someone like you
a story that needs you to rewrite it into a masterpiece
if i was to propose to you
i'd tell you that my father gave me respect. my mother gave me magic and art and have been using both to love you.
that there are good days and bad days and i miss you during every single one
that i'd walk through the valley of the shadow of death just to pick your favourite flower
look i understand that with you around my heartbeat may wake the neighbours
but we can soundproof the walls
i want the sound of your laughter to crack the sidewalks
i know that just because i love you
it doesn’t mean you feel loved by me
and not that it's any of your business but i love you
i just want my home and your home to be the same place, i want to forget what books are mine and what books are yours, i want us to dance in the garden and eat in the bedroom and make love in the kitchen
you feel like moonlight above pressed lips. like a new language my tongue has not yet learned to form
see
i wanna wake up next to you and say good morning,i love your face
because apparently is easier to talk to God when you are near an angel
if i was to propose to you i'd ask you to love me beyond my i don't know what I'm doing days
although you're no investigator but i hope you see as i (CSI)
trust me darling, with the faith of a mustard seed, we can move mountains just promise me we won't everest...TBC

The narcissists in relationships
as Phora once said, we often paint people as villains when their blood is on our brushes.
