A podcast of phone conversations with Trump supporters leading up to the 2020 election. In an era of divisive political rhetoric, as a young black voter, I find it important to understand why the Trump voters vote as they do. Rather than engage and perpetuate in the divisiveness, I seek to understand and share their perspective with unlike minds in hopes to provide insight to them. I am not perfect, all-knowing, or above reproach. I am simply here to listen more than I respond.

Episode 1 - A Foreign Perspective. A Conversation With Milen.
In the first episode, I speak with Milen, a man who emigrated tot he United States 21 years years ago. His life story originates from Bulgaria and his viewpoints on politic are heavily rooted in his experiences growing up under the former Soviet Union. The conversation came about from some bold claims he made on Facebook about the democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris. The conversation includes talks about how he views her ethnicity, her politics, his support for Trump, and his fears of where this country is headed.
This podcast is about listening and understanding. Not arguing. I find it more productive to listen and observe the perspectives of others who do not hold like-minded views. Listening and understanding is the goal.
