#7 - Are we Green Consumers?

How do we prioritize sustainability in our weekly grocery runs? Can we say with confidence that we are conscious consumers?

Rainier talks about how each purchase that he makes is a signal that another product just like it should be produced. Once something comes off the shelf, the signal is already sent that another one needs to take its place!

Erik shares his thoughts on how he buys fewer clothes but invests in clothing that has very good quality. To him, it's important to respect who you buy from and really pay attention to what you buy.

Also, who holds the responsibility for enabling sustainability in business markets? is it the consumer or the producer?

Rainier talks about the challenge of appealing to consumer's aspirations while understanding the actual barriers that consumers face in buying green products.
