Nathan Lieuwen



Bio: 

Nathan played professional hockey for 5 years from 2012-2017, including playing in the NHL for the Buffalo Sabres. He also played 5 years for the Kootenay Ice of the WHL, winning the Ed Chynoweth Cup and Playoff MVP in 2010-2011.

After retiring due to injuries, he is committed to bringing quality goalie coaching locally to those in the East Kootenays, through his company Kootenay Goaltending. Nathan is also the majority owner and president of the Cranbrook Bucks of the BCHL who play out of Western Financial Place.

Jordan started in marketing at 22 when he bought a Taco Del Mar chain restaurant. The learning curve was large but after 5 years he had tripled the sales at the restaurant with creative marketing tactics. After selling the store Jordan and his wife grew their children’s clothing company Little & Lively from a small at home operation to one of the “top ten baby brands in Canada” with advanced digital marketing techniques. Bio: 

He is an industry leader with over 25 years of experience in the allied health care sector. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Matt put his Human Kinetics degree and passion for health and sport to use in his first start up company – Innovative Fitness. This body of work led to a Canadian (2006) and British Columbia (2011) Top 40 Under 40 recognition. In early 2010, Matt turned his focus to the not-for-profit sector where he founded a charity focused on supporting the development of physical literacy in youth. To date, these tools have been utilized in over 238 countries.

He is a Guinness Book of World Record holder, two-time Ironman, ten-time marathon finisher and multi day adventure race competitor. Matt and his team have raised over $6.25M for charity over 20 years with a lifetime goal of $10M.
