Gormley’s Guidance: For Parents, Teachers and BCBAs wanting to learn tools for behaviors Jennifer Gormley M.E.d, BCBA L

This episode we will be taking a deeper look into functional behavior assessment’s and how important they are when you’re trying to understand the function of maladaptive behaviors. We will also take a general look at what goes into functional behavior assessment including different types of data and how we track data etc.

This episode is a further look into what Gormley Guidance is and what I hope to accomplish through this podcast. It’s a look into the lives of those with different “abilities” from my personal perspective as a different learner, as an educator, a parent of a child with Autism and finally as a BCBA.

This episode is a chance for listeners to hear my background and understand a little piece of my journey that has brought me to where I am today as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, otherwise known as BCBA. My goal is to help others who work with children or adults, either in the school or home setting, as well as parents, when it comes to challenging behaviors and their children.
