"An Arts Degree? You Must Be A Failure"

In Kothabhorta's inaugural episode, we talk about why you don't necessarily need to go into STEM if you're not interested in it, how no one knows what the hell a diaspora is, the intricacies of navigating life as a "stereotypical Poli Sci major", and how to strategically break questionable news to your parents (spoiler: there's no right answer).
Disclaimer: We'd urge all listeners to take this with a grain of salt. Obviously, we're biased based on our preferences and interests. People in STEM are doing incredible work, and if you are one of those incredible people (or want to become one of them), we love that for you. The point of this episode is to discuss why students should not be forced into this field solely because our culture makes us think it's one of the only viable options. The world needs both sides of the spectrum. An Arts degree can also open doors for you, despite what our society will have us believe.
