A Prayer to Live in Humility

A Prayer to Live in Humility

It's hard to admit we need help. Coming to the end of ourselves humbles us. It goes against our self-reliant culture. We want to power, hustle, and fight our way through the hard things. We are proud—we've got this. And yet, sometimes it's not the big thing that humbles us, but the smallest.

What has God used to humble you lately? Listen to today's episode from Michelle Krol, based on Proverbs 11:2.

A Prayer for Trusting God Alone

A Prayer for Trusting God Alone

The enemy is so crafty! He whispers in our ear, causes us to make a subtle shift in focus, and we find ourselves forgetting about God's ability to do more than we can ever imagine. We end up striving and focusing on our limited ability and desire to try and control what happens in the lives of our children.

The only thing in life that we can control is whether or not our own heart is fixed on the God who is in control of all things.

Do you struggle to trust God alone for the lives of your children? Listen to today's episode from Gina Smith based on Matthew 6:25 & 33.

    A Prayer for Healing Words

    A Prayer for Healing Words

There is one thing in our lives that holds great power that can be easily used for both great good and great evil. I have seen it bring people together and tear others apart. I have used it for both wonderful and terrible purposes. It is something none of us can escape. I'm talking about the power of the tongue.

Words can harm, but words can also heal.

The tongue has great power, and under the control of the Holy Spirit, this power can change lives in the best way, all for the glory of God.

Do you struggle with using your words to heal? Listen to today's episode from Erin Mohring on Proverbs 12:18.

A Prayer for Our Children to be Great

A Prayer for Our Children to be Great

Don't you love to see your child excel at what he or she is good at and then receive recognition for it? I do.

My boys love sports and music, and you better believe I am the loudest person there to celebrate a good hit, a three-pointer, or a song well played.

In fact, sometimes I have to reign myself in and remember that things like sports and music can teach my sons a lot about life, being good men, and even following Christ. But there's more to life than excelling at the things our children love.

Our hearts as moms tell us our kids need to be the best, the greatest, for their lives to really matter. But Jesus says the greatest shall be the servant of all.

Do we want them to be favored or do we want them to follow Christ?

Learn more when you listen to today's episode, from Brooke McGlothlin based on Luke 6:45.

A Prayer Set Your Mind on Christ

A Prayer Set Your Mind on Christ

    Where we look matters.

Today, Erin H. Warren is helping us learn the importance of keeping our minds on Christ. There's much at stake if we don't, and it's a skill every believer can learn.

Do you find it hard to keep your mind on Christ when the world around you seems to be closing in?

God wants our whole hearts, not because He's selfish or thinks He's so much better, but because He knows what's awaits us when we faithfully look to Him.

Do you find yourself focusing on everything except Jesus throughout your day?

    This episode is for you.

Check out this episode of Everyday Prayers with Million Praying Moms based on Colossians 3:1-3 to learn how you can keep your mind on Christ!

A Prayer for Showing Love to Our Children

A Prayer for Showing Love to Our Children

Have you wondered how to love your children biblically and effectively?

The world often defines love in a way that is completely different from God's definition.

Today, Connie Albers is teaching us exactly what God's way looks like.

If you're wondered how to love your children effectively...

If you aren't sure what biblical love really is...

If you often mix up your job as a parent versus God's job as, well, God...

    This episode is for you.

Check out this episode of Everyday Prayers with Million Praying Moms based on 1 Timothy 1:5 to learn how you can show love to your children!
