It’s been a while, but we’re back and older than ever! After a brief discussion about podcasts and Speed, you’ll get an extra special dose of Movies We’ve Seen since last time (12:54), TV Talk (1:23:38), and Entertainment News/Upcoming Trailers and Stuff (1:30:51).  Then it’s time for an all-new edition of “Not Like This, Christopher Nolan” at 1:45:05, What Year Did That Come Out Again? at 1:54:26 and Tomato Talk at 1:56:56.  Finally, Patrick provides a masterful Hidden Gem recommendation for your eyeballs (2:05:00).  Episode highlights include a discussion about Apes, a shout-out to Guy Richie, revisiting the classic films of our youth, pretentious/art-house/indie film phases, our favorite Kurt Russell movies, unnecessary Star Trek, and a brief, oral history of Cannon Films’ Masters of the Universe, recently screened at the Los Feliz Theater in LA.    

All that, plus Patrick has a mid-life crisis inspired melt-down while Kelly takes a break to pee.

(1:56:37) before an all knew edition of Tomato Talk, previously known as Guess That Rotten Tomato Score (2:02:47).  Finally, Patrick provides your Hidden Gem recommendation of the week (2:05:40).  Episode highlights include podcast recommendations, a Rocketeer themed Lex Paul memory, Kelly’s Star Trek dreams with Nicolas Cage, strong but polite disagreements about Moonstruck, discussions about spiders in space, good vs. bad on-screen tsunamis, good vs. bad on-screen World War II, and upcoming movies on the horizon.

Just in time for everybody's favorite holiday, it's a patriotic President's Day movie commentary special of the 1997 blockbuster, Air Force One!  Revisit (perhaps) the greatest movie ever made, or at the very least, a movie that will make you feel better about the American Presidency than you've felt in years (we promise).  Harrison Ford's Commander and Chief goes toe-to-toe with Gary Oldman's fanatical Russian terrorist leader, edge-of-your-seat landline negotiations with Glenn Close's VP in her sweat-stained blouse, a fax machine (remember those?!) that's super important to the plot of the movie, double crosses, sacrifices, character development (remember when that was a thing in action movies?!), indirect executive orders, extras giving top-notch background performances, hostages gleefully parachuting into the safety of the Atlantic ocean, crossing wires in the luggage compartment to dump fuel, a presidential flying lesson during a Russian Mig attack that just may have served as the inspiration for Disney's Smuggler's Run, zip-lining between aircrafts travelling at 550 miles per hour, and Harrison delivering the greatest single line in cinematic history on one bad-ass airplane.  All that, plus the passionate commentary of two movie-loving idiots.  Happy listening!  Happy President's Day!  And remember -- If you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want a glass of milk.
