In this edition of the Owl Wisdom Podcast, I take a look at how Trump has fallen short of the economic promises he made and damaged global multilateralism with his America-first policies. I see his exit as a chance to remake the world economic order in order to revive trust, cooperation and confidence in an interdependent world. I also look at the chance to push through much-needed economic reforms, including reduction of inequality, climate change and regulation of tech.

Here I argue - like I did in my podcast on The Big Reset - that we need to take the pandemic as an opportunity to introduce meaningful reforms so that we can move forward from the pre-Covid world and make real progress.

This edition of the Owl Wisdom Podcast focuses on leisure and work in the Covid Economy as the pandemic forces changes in our lives. It was prompted by my reading of Thorstein Veblen's book, Theory of the Leisure Class and I draw comparisons between his theory and the present day, when technology has wrought the biggest changes at work.

I look at countries in the way they responded to the Covid pandemic and what that tells us about countries as brands. I discuss why it has a lot to do with culture and use Geert Hofstede's cultural dimensions of countries to make my point.
