Presented in Spring 2010, the Alumni Studies Course, “Speaking of Art," focused on why discourse on art is so important to society, as well as to the microcosm of Princeton—as both research University and liberal arts institution. Given the recently renewed emphasis placed on the creative and performing arts at Princeton, there’s no better time than now to talk about art. Featuring some of Princeton’s newest arts faculty members, this course provided a broad overview of the arts in general but also within a Princeton context.
