    • Economía y empresa

Laurel Sutherlin from the Rainforest Action Network (RAN), an organization that leads campaigns against many of the world's most powerful corporations and financial institutions- such as, banks and insurance companies. RAN holds these banks and insurance companies accountable for their role in driving deforestation, human rights abuses, and the climate crisis.

Laurel has been with RAN for over 10 years and in this episode we learned about deforestation and the impact banks specifically have on indigenous communities through their funding climate crisis projects.
