Buzzing with Excitement: Unveiling the Upcoming Book!

Buzzing with Excitement: Unveiling the Upcoming Book!

Countdown: Only 14 Days to Go!Until Release!

A Glimpse into My Recent Encounter

Ever had an experience that made you question
    society's norms?

Allow me to take you on a roller-coaster of emotions
as I share a recent encounter that left me stunned.

Picture this: I went to the hospital seeking a
certificate confirming the injuries I sustained due to a bus driver's
    negligence.

But what I received was beyond unexpected.

    A Shocking Twist

Instead of acknowledging the severity of my injuries,
    the doctor's focus shifted.

She wove my injuries into a web of unrelated illnesses
and, most astonishingly, fixated on my weight.

Yes, you read that right – my weight became the
    centerpiece of her assessment.

The injuries I suffered took a backseat as she
prioritized discussing my weight and how it related to the incident.

    The Power of Assumptions

What's truly striking is the assumptions that
    followed.

It was as though my wheelchair existence was secondary
    to her preconceived notions.

The doctor seemed to imply that my weight alone was
reason enough for my wheelchair use, disregarding the very real injuries that
    led me there.

The issue of justice and the bus driver's negligence
faded into the background, overshadowed by her singular fixation.

    Unveiling Society's Lens

This experience, although personal, reflects a broader
issue that our society grapples with – the tendency to judge and categorize
    based on superficial factors.

It's a narrative that many have encountered, where
assumptions and biases take precedence over facts and reality.

But this story is just the tip of the iceberg.

    What Lies Ahead

My upcoming book "Not Now Please: Living Through
Racism Ableism and Grief" delves deep into these societal challenges.

It's a collection of experiences that break through
the surface, exposing the complex interplay of prejudices, injustices, and the
    strength that emerges from within.

From personal stories to thought-provoking insights,
this book will spark conversations and ignite change.

    Join the Conversation

Stay tuned as we count down the days to the book
    release.

Together, we'll peel back the layers and unravel the
    truths that demand our attention.

Let's challenge assumptions, question norms, and
create a world that values every story, every experience, and every individual.

Get ready to dive deep, because change begins when we
    look beyond the surface. 🌟🔍

Why were we brought up to believe that White people are more intelligent than us?

Why were we brought up to believe that White people are more intelligent than us?

Do you recall these famous words that your parents or even you yourself use when it comes to measuring success? As punctual as a mzungu? A white person is very disciplined. People who are light-skinned look almost like white people? What about beauty standards? Even having high regards to people who speak English with American or British accent because they are more intelligent.

We were brought up to hate our skin color and even in our education system, we are never taught that Africans and Black people have ever achieved or invented anything. We are taught about the white role models and their achievement and expected to glorify them.

We need to review why we still continue to do this and to unlearn these self-hatred which is one of the major obstacles in growing our Black owned businesses.

How to find a business idea?

How to find a business idea?

Discussions were around how to find a business idea that you think will help solve a specific problem that people are looking for. It is important that your business idea should be the solution of problems that people have been wanting to get solved.

Another important thing about starting your own business is that creating business markets for other people that would like to co-operate with you in helping you implement your business. For those people who want to co-operate with you they will be coming with their USP (Unique Selling Point) so that both businesses are able to offer clients an all round solution product.

We also addressed the challenges of sourcing reliable and competent employees especially in the gastronomy business.

Challenges when starting or developing black owned businesses.

Challenges when starting or developing black owned businesses.

Welcome to Under The Mango Tree Podcast. A podcast that aims to promote African and Black businesses in Germany

Today's topic we want to address the major challenges that African Businesses face in Germany amongst others:

Challenges when starting or developing black owned businesses.
These include barriers to networks, resources, and mentors and lack of access to capital, key resources and stakeholders

In order for African businesses to gain a voice on important tables, we need to structure and strategies our presence in the economic parquette. We lack visibility and as a result, a lot of decisions are being made, without taking our needs into consideration

Unpacking The Western Double Standards: How The Ukraine Refugees Are Treated Compared To Other Refugees

Unpacking The Western Double Standards: How The Ukraine Refugees Are Treated Compared To Other Refugees

WHITE SUPREMACY: DOUBLE STANDARDSI dedicated a whole week last month on the topic on CRITICAL THINKING and why it is important tool especially when we are talking about topics such as discrimination, racism, patriarchy etc. What I do not understand why such people are elected as leaders literally in all countries in the West. Because White Supremacy is a global blueprint, you will find that such people will experience difficulties in just understanding something simple that one country is being given preferential treatment in terms of application of asylum seekers and the others do not have this service available, and hence they have to look for alternative ways of getting their lives into safety even if it means risking their lives to high waters.❌❌❌❌❌WEISSE VORHERRSCHAFT: DOPPELSTANDARDSLetzten Monat habe ich eine ganze Woche dem Thema KRITISCHES DENKEN gewidmet und warum es ein wichtiges Werkzeug ist, besonders wenn wir über Themen wie Diskriminierung, Rassismus, Patriarchat usw. sprechen.
