    The Story Behind The Song: Hysteria by Def Leppard

    Joining Mario for this week's Story Behind The Song was Naomi Moore of the iconic windmill lane recording studios in Dublin. Fittingly it is the story of one of Def Leppards biggest hits, which was recorded in those very studios.
    The band recorded the song there between 1985 and 1987. The title of the album and song was thought up by drummer Rick Allen, referring to his 1984 auto accident and the ensuing worldwide media coverage surrounding it.
    The album is Def Leppard& #39;s best-selling album to date, selling over 25 million copies worldwide, including 12 million in the US, and spawning seven hit singles.

    The Story Behind The Song "I won't back down" by Tom Petty

    Joining Mario for this week's Story Behind The Song was Karl Deeter . It's a song that has been used in many political campaigns, most notably by George W Bush.
    The song was released in April 1989 as the lead single from his first solo album, Full Moon
    Fever. The song was written by Petty and Jeff Lynne, his writing partner for the album
    Traveling Wilburys bandmates George Harrison and Jeff Lynne appear in the video. Mike
    Campbell and Harrison's former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr are also featured in the video
    Due to its themes, the song has been used in many political campaigns – it was played often
    on American radio following the September 11 attacks
