How do you process your feelings? What happens next? After taking some time to process the loss, I've realized that there are no shortcuts to the healing process. And sometimes, the death of a thing is the best thing that can ever happen for you.

I have earned $57,777.35 in scholarships and grants over the past 4 years, and I am in awe of God's faithfulness. Feeling like a strong candidate to compete for this honor, I was more than ready to put my best foot forward until death hit my family before the first round of interviews.
