Life with Epilepsy - E. 15 - School Time
Sending your child with epilepsy to school for the first time can be frightening. However, if you meet with the school in advance and put a plan in place everyone feels better. Have s speaker come in to talk with the staff, answer questions the staff make have without getting defensive. Let your child thrive and grow without you checking up on them. Learn their strengths and struggles as they progress from grade to grade and adapt their IEP. Let your child come home with s smile and laughter.
