Deepak Chopra - What Is Existence?
One of our primary goals at Meditation Magazine is to help popularize meditation in the western mainstream. We believe that this endeavor will make the world a significantly better place.
Deepak Chopra has been doing exactly that for the past few decades, and has reached more mainstream Americans than possibly any other meditation teacher alive today.
While a particularly vocal subgroup of millennials accuse Deepak of being materialistic & dealing in "mumbo jumbo," Deepak stays focused on the existential questions about life, death, and the nature of Reality that have driven his spiritual quest since he was a child. He is also focusing on helping underserved populations by offering free meditation programs to those who have been hit hardest by the pandemic.
Our conversation with Deepak was wide-ranging, covering topics like the pandemic, helping people in need, the debates and conflicts with Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins, and Joe Rogan, Physicalism vs Idealism vs Naive Realism, The Fundamental Nature of Reality, and much more 😃 -
