몇 년 전 여름,

그날은 유난히 번개가 많이 치는 밤 이었어.

마치 내 머리 위로 번개가 내리치지 않을까 걱정스러웠던 그런 밤.

엘리베이터를 타면서 혹시나 번개 때문에 정전이 되면 어쩌지 싶었는데

기다렸다는 듯이 천둥소리와 거의 동시에 엘리베이터가 멈춰버렸지.
