34. Academic Medical Genetics - Dr. Patrick Frosk Northern Exposure

Dr. Frosk is a medical geneticist and Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He completed a PhD in biochemistry and medical genetics at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Frosk then moved to Calgary for medical school and a part-time postdoctoral fellowship in medical genetics at the University of Calgary. He completed residency at the University of Manitoba in Medical Genetics and Genomics. He is active in research with grants to investigate the pathophysiology of the Cree PRUNE1 neurodevelopmental disorder, the pathophysiology of the Mennonite GLX5 founder mutation, and unplanned pregnancy loss.
