This is it - our final AFC DONScast of the season!

Whilst it has not been the best of seasons for the Dons, there has been a glimmer of hope in these final few matches, and we have to put on record for the job Peter Leven has done to steer us to safety.

Lots to look forward as we head into a new era under Jimmy Thelin.

In this edition we look back at our midweek home win against Livingston and the match against Ross County earlier today in Dingwall.

Plus Aberdeen FC Women also had midweek outing against Dundee Utd on Wednesday night and their final match of the season was earlier today as well, away to Spartans.

We hear from Dons Women's Manager, Clint Lancaster following both games.

AFC DONScast Pre-season will return on Sunday 7 July 2024 with regular updates during the month, ahead of the league start on 3 August, and we'll also be tracking the transfer market with expected departures and arrivals at Pittodrie.

The AFC DONScast will return for the 2024/25 season on Sunday 4 August.

What an epic few days for the Dons.

The young Dons are Champions of the Club Academy Scotland Elite Under 18 League following our 2-1 win against Rangers.  Just days later, Fletcher Boyd makes his Dons first team debut and scores an injury time goal in our 4-0 win against Hibs!

Pre and post match reaction from our match against Hibs from Peter Leven and Leighton Clarkson, and we also hear from Aberdeen FC Women's manager, Clint Lancaster following our 3-2 loss against Motherwell on Sunday afternoon.

The key take away from this weekend is we are safe from any thought of a relegation fight as we grab all three points against St Johnstone thanks to a Bojan Miovski penalty.  Pre and post-match reaction with Peter Leven and Scott Anderson.
