    Following Liverpool FC's decision to furlough some staff during the ongoing coronavirus crisis, Guy Clarke and the ECHO's Liverpool correspondent Paul Gorst talk through the implications of the decision. In furloughing some of their staff, the government will now pay 80% of a salaries, while the club have confirmed they will top-up the remaining 20%. From the announcement, the reaction the club have received and whether or not they could yet go back on their decision, all matters are looked at. The significance of the Reds decision is also analysed with fellow Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City, Newcastle United and AFC Bournemouth all having taken similar action. Enjoy.     Liverpool may well have been eliminated from the Champions League prior to football being suspended, but here on Blood Red we continue along the Road to Istanbul. Joining Guy Clarke and Dan Kay, as we look back on Liverpool's 2-1 quarter final first leg win over Italian giants Juventus is ITV and former Radio City commentator Clive Tyldesley. Clive shares his memories of the night, having been behind the mic for ITV as Sami Hyypia and Luis Garcia put the Reds into an early 2-0 lead on a raucous Anfield evening. Having covered Liverpool and Juventus' previous meeting, the 1985 European Cup Final at Heysel, Clive recollects the feeling prior to the game with this being the first time to two sides had met, almost 20 years on from the disaster that led to 39 people losing their lives.
