Over the last few quarters, Solana has become the preferred network to trade meme assets, tinker with DeFi and own NFTs. If you have used Solana over the past month, you have likely experienced dropped transactions. This can be frustrating for users and developers and a threat to Solana’s progress. 
In our quest to understand these performance issues better, we wanted to chat with someone who operates in the weeds of Solana.


Our guest for the episode is Austin Adams from Anagram - a crypto investment firm and think tank. He also led protocol development at Metaplex. We discuss the reasons for Solana’s congestion (separating the fact from the fiction), fixes that have already gone live, and other measures in the works that will further alleviate the problem.
