#education  #philosophy  #morality --- Dr S. Munirah Alatas and Adzhar Ibrahim: Malaysia’s Education System Has Failed Us, So What’s Next?
The Trust Deficit has never been wider where Malaysia’s education system is concerned. So where do parents and children turn to, to prepare them for a future that has never been more uncertain?
Independent scholar Dr S Munirah Alatas and ex-Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) Adzhar Ibrahim offer their thoughts on some possible ways forward, even as Malaysia’s politics and policies goes ever-further backwards.

Luno’s Aaron Tang - The Bitcoin, Crypto Bull Market Has Begun, But It’s Early Days Yet
The Bitcoin and crypto market is in a clear bull run right now, making it an excellent time to be talking to Aaron Tang, the Regional General Manager of Luno, where he oversees the Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian crypto markets for the global cryptocurrency platform.
I get deep into the weeds with him on how early we are in the current crypto bull run, question him on some of the assumptions about cryptos (such as self-custody and blockchain safety) while getting his views on how strict or market-friendly the regulators are.

Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Suren Thuraisingham - Indians Are at the Highest Risk of Heart Diseases

Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Suren Thuraisingham - Indians Are at the Highest Risk of Heart Diseases

This health-related podcast, like my earlier one on cancer with Dr Teo Soo Hwang (see link below) is also a personal one, as I have lost a number of friends and close acquaintances to heart disease in recent months.
In some cases, the deaths were shocking, since they happened to seemingly healthy, fit and well-adjusted people. Not at all – at least superficially – that fell within the definition of ‘high-risk’.
I resolved to attempt to better understand the Whys and Wherefores of heart disease, which meant there was only one person I could speak with: Dr. Suren Thuraisingham, an old family friend from back home in Penang.
Dr. Thuraisingham is a very experienced and highly respected cardiologist, having practised medicine in this field since 1990. He very kindly agreed to answer my questions about why even young and seemingly healthy people are dropping dead from heart attacks, among a whole host of related issues, including whether a link exists between Covid vaccinations and heart diseases.
(Dr. Thuraisingham is a Consultant Cardiologist at CVSKL (Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur), an integrated cardiac and vascular hospital in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He has been a practicing cardiologist since 1990.)
